Mary, I would say that it is a great possibility that Grandma Josie was part Indian.I could not go so far as to say a full blood. She sure looked like a Indian, but I haven't head anyone in the family say anything about that. I am descended from James and his first wife Martha A. Powell. Martha Died in 1899. So Josie was the only great grand mother I knew on the Goodall side. I can send pictures and a copy of the family tree back to 1702.
