    3. Shirley, Thanks so much for the info. Yes, I have all that except about the burial in cove creek. I knew Joanna had a brother named Thomas. Do you have Malcolm Smith, Grandfather of Joanna? If you do who was his wife.? I noticed you have Sutton in Your surnames, Are you connected to James (Jimmy) Sutton? That was Jonna's 2nd Husband. I have been trying to find out if he had a 1st. wife and family. That would explain why Joanna is buried alone. I have been wondering so long. I helped to update that cemetery before I knew who she was. When I wrote her name down Joanna Sutton, wife of James Sutton. I though how sad then found out she is my g-g-Grandmother. 3. Dusty, I am a direct descendant of Eli Frank Gammon(s) B. 1832 D. 1899 S/O William W. (Billie) Gammon and Anges Scarborogh Gammon and Mary Jane Ellis D/O James Ellis And Elizabeth Day Ellis. Eli's siblings were James, Levy. Elizabeth, Cenia, Lucndia, Margaret Adinaline. William had a brother named Elihu this makes him Eli's uncle. He could have had a brother named Elihu also because I might not have all his sibling. Eli and Margaret D. Ellis his 2nd wife, and Mary's sister are buried in Frogpond/Friendship Cemetery in Macon Co. Tn. Mary is buried in Ellis/Wilburn Cemetery With her parents. I have lots of info. and love to share. Eli's son Carroll Jefferson Gammons by Mary was my g-grandfather I remember him. He died June 11, 1947. Do you have a lot of info. we could compare. 3. You may already have this information but John & Joannah are on the 1860 Pulaski Co. Mo census with Martha, Louisa, & Mary. I noticed you q. because Joannah's brother Thomas J. is my ancestor. There is a John Thompson buried in Cove Creek Cem. in Bates Co. Mo but I don't know is it is the correct one. Don't have any dates. I got this info from the Mo. web site. Brenda Wills Dusty & Brenda Do you have any information on Robert GAMMON, born about 1805 in Smith Co., married Mary "Polly" SHRUM, born about 1809 in Smith Co. I lost track of them after 1840. I found some of their children in Macon Co. in 1850. Robert was/is the son of John GAMMON(s) and Mary DIXON. Mary "Polly" is the daughter of Peter SHRUM and Sarah LOVELADY, according to several sources, but I haven't been able to find any original documentary evidence this. Thanks!! Bobby L. West

Now, for the connection to that family. Ollie Bell Cothron, daughter of Lucy and James, was born 6/24/1898 and died 4/1/1952. She was the wife of Floyd Nelson Green, son of Sampson McClaron and Marietta Elizabeth Green. They married 12/4/1913. He was born 12/14/1898 in Jackson County and died 7/4/1956. Both he and his wife are buried at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Hartsville. Let me know if you think our two families cross somewhere. I have more info that I can help you out with. Jackie

    2. William Timothy also had a daughter Bessie Augie and she is my husband's grandmother. It's great to find someone on the same line. Now as for the Green's, his maternal grandmother was Mattie Green who married Les Warner. They were in Trousdale County. Is there a connection with your Green's and mine as well? Now Bessie, she married Clay Carpenter and they had three sons, Bradford, Haskell and James. I can take you up to date on that line and the Green's if they are connected. Let me know, Jackie
