    1. Lavada WEST
    2. B & B West
    3. From: Mary Pryor She is listed in the index of Macon County, Tennessee Bonds and Marriages Vol 1 1901 - Aug 1929 as being on page 27. That is Dillard thru Doss men names with brides. I can't seem to find her. You might check the microfilm for that period. Hi, Mary, Thanks for checking on Lavada WEST. I have copies of the births/deaths records from Joe WEST's Bible. The Bible records list the birth and death dates of his parents as well as the births of himself and those of his siblings with the exception of Lavada, although she is stated as being a sister to Joe in the 1900 & 1910 Macon Co. censuses as transcribed by the MCHS. You found her listed in the marriage book index but not on the page indicated. I checked the Macon Co. Cemetery Books, Vol. I and Vol. II for a Lavada in the listings Dillard thru Doss but didn't find a burial record for her, however, there could be a number of reasons why she wouldn't be listed there. She may be in the category of "the little man who wasn't there", as well as a couple or three of my multi-great grandpas. <g> Bobby L. West
