TN now Loudon Co. She may have married a Ragan first, then Charles Grant. There were three children, William, Tom and Elnora. According to the KY 1890 Civil War Vets census, Charles was in the war from 1863-1865 and was a sergent in Co. E of the 11th TN Cavalry. Nancy then married Mr. Englant (maybe James K. Englant) and had two children: Martin and (Martha) Alice. Nancy was born about 1843 to Samuel and Mariah Slaton Walker. Martin was born in Jellico, TN Nov. 23,1879. Martin died in Knoxville in December 1908, age 29, after a coal mine mishap when his spine was crushed by falling slate.
