Her will was written Apr 24, 1893 and it listed her children as Rebecca Elvira Wallace and Mary Jane Fine and sons-in-law James Wallace and Daniel Fine. There was another reference: Lucinda F. Minton, written Aug 8, 1893, Spouse Samuel A. Rodgers. There was also a reference for Samuel A. Rodgers: written Mar 15, 1902; Children: California E. Greer, Mary B. Stephenson, Annie E. Rodgers, S. R. Rodgers (son), Arther Rodgers, Jannie Rodgers. I found a Knox County Marriage for John Minton to Lucinda DeFreese on Nov 19, 1869. A Lucinda DeFreece Minton (b. Jan 23, 1826 d. Aug 10, 1895) is buried at Martel Cemetery Daniel Fine is my husbands gg-grandfather and he married Mary Jane Greer on Jan 16, 1880 in Loudon Co, TN. She was born on Aug 26, 1859 and is buried at Martel Cemetery. I have not been able to find Mary Jane's family and this is the first solid clue I have had. Does anyone know anything about Lucinda, John and Samuel. Or how Mary Jane Greer Fine fits into the family????
