    3. Thanks to all that responded to my question if others on this list where having trouble with Ancestry. I not only do not like their new look but I had to threaten that I would cancel my membership if they did not give me back my old home page which they had changed some months back. I have done that a couple of times and have been successful. I would hate to cancel for I do depend on them and have found so many books there with info that I need. But it has been one thing after another. With their new look and changes they made they want me to up grade my browser. Not long after I got my new computer MSN did automatically upgraded my browser & I lost the use of my scanner and could not access the internet. I had to take my computer back a day. Same thing happened when I tried to upgrade on the Ancestry site. Another problem. I ordered their new 2009 Family Tree Maker but gave it away for it was just too confusing for me. In all cases they want the customer to let them send all this info to you but it takes hours to go through & it is all wrong. I am going to write Ancestry back and include all of your feed back (without using anyone's name). If that does not work then I believe that writing to CEO Timothy Sullivan is not a bad idea. Thank you all again, I knew I could count on the people on this list. I thought if you all understood my problems then it was Ancestry's fault and not my inability in communicating my problems. 3. For years the Lawrence Co., IN census for 1840 has been indexed with Lagrange Co., IN. Lawrence Co. had no inhabitants listed on Ancestry. A bunch of us on the Lawrence Co. mailing list decided a couple of years ago that we would all write to them at the same time about the problem. End result: Ancestry removed Lawrence Co. from the list of counties in Indiana on the 1840 census as if it did not exist!!! The inhabitants of Lawrence Co. are still indexed at Ancestry as having been enumerated in Lagrange Co.! Funny thing, the local library manages to get it right!
