For at least ten years I have tried to explain to Ancestry.com that in the 1840 Arkansas census one section of Carroll County is included in the 1840 Conway County census records. Somehow the pages got mixed up. It is obvious what has happened if you look at the name of the county listed at the top of the pages. I found the error years ago when I was reading census records on microfilm. Ancestry refuses to listen. I have never even received a response from them. If anyone finds a way to get their attention please let me know. In a message dated 10/22/2009 3:04:00 P.M. They refuse to accept that their program link points to an incorrect database. I've even given them 3 other sources to use to verify that the data they are linking to is incorrect. They simply ignore me each time. I try to explain to them how damaging it is to their credibility, but they just don't get it. Maybe if everyone on this list hits them, they will wake up.
