    3. I do not like the new look, either - it's too messy and confusing to me - I wish they would go back to the old look.  I, too, am having to make a decision whether or not to renew first of the year.  Now they want me to install a new viewer to make images clearer - can this damage my computer?  ________________________________ From: "BlackOtterK@aol.com" <BlackOtterK@aol.com> To: tnlincol@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, October 22, 2009 9:46:14 PM Subject: Re: [TNLINCOL] Ancestry problems Hi Julia, I too have had nothing but problems with Ancestry ever since they changed to their "New Look".  I have voiced my displeasure and asked to go back to the old search ways.  It took an act of Congress to get it changed and about every week or so, they again slip back to the New Look.  They  need to listed to their subscribers.  Shirley In a message dated 10/22/2009 8:36:59 P.M. Not long after I  got my new computer MSN did automatically upgraded my browser & I lost the  use of my scanner and could not access the internet.  I had to take my  computer back a day.  Same thing happened when I tried to upgrade on the  Ancestry site.  Another problem.  I ordered their new 2009 Family  Tree Maker but gave it away for it was just too confusing for me.  In all  cases they want the customer to let th! em send all this info to you but it  takes hours to go through & it is all wrong. I am going to write  Ancestry back and include all of your feed back (without using anyone's  name).  If that does not work then I believe that writing to CEO Timothy  Sullivan is not a bad idea. Thank you all again, I knew I could count  on the people on this list.  I thought if you all understood my problems  then it was Ancestry's fault and not my inability in communicating my  problems.
