Dear Joy, I believe Willis Benjamin Helmick's parents to be Andrew Jackson Helmick (b. Abt. 1828 in *VA*) & Mary Frances "Fannie" Burgess (b. Abt. 1834 in TN), the daughter of Henry K. Burgess & Rachel Wilson . In the 1870 Giles Co., TN census he is listed as Willie Helmick (age 10). In the 1880 Giles Co., TN census he is listed as Wm. B. Helmick (age 19).
