    3. It is very frustrating!  We went to one cem. right near the Tim Ford dam, and it was on a hill and all the graves had either very old headstones or just planes rocks as headstones, very cool.  Never thought about snakes though, lol Donna Borges, MI Beau - I is mums bestest boy Maggie - I is mums bestest dirl Chips - Over the "Rainbow" 4/08 Tator _ Over the "Rainbow" 1/07 --- On Tue, 3/30/10, Donna Hanlon <dehanlon47@hotmail.com> wrote: From: Donna Hanlon <dehanlon47@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: [TNLINCOL] "Cemetery Records of Lincoln-Moore Counties, Tennessee" Index To: "LCT list" <tnlincol@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 8:36 AM It could be like Swaners Grove, where a lot of my family is buried. Supposedly it is a church yard next to a Baptist church that was built by a Swaner/Swanner ancestor. The church burned and was not rebuilt. My gr gr grandfather is said to have been buried there in about 1906, somewhere near Elkmont Springs. No trace of it exists now. I'd like to have a Confederate marker placed but there is not graveyard for it. A number of my ancestors are in Gill Cem also and it is to remote, on top of a hill, infested with timber rattlers and ticks, it is inaccessible for obvious reasons.  Good luck to you in finding your family.  So many were buried without markers. > Date: Mon, 29 Mar 2010 19:42:25 -0700 > From: djborges54@yahoo.com > To: tnlincol@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [TNLINCOL] "Cemetery Records of Lincoln-Moore Counties,    Tennessee" Index > > Thanks Julia, I know its not in the book, hoping someone has heard of it though???  I have a newspaper clipping from the late 1800's from my ggg grandfathers third wife's obit., and it lists Goosby as the cem.  So it must be around somewhere??? > > Donna Borges, MI > > Beau - I is mums bestest boy > Maggie - I is mums bestest dirl  Chips - Over the "Rainbow" 4/08 > Tator _ Over the "Rainbow" 1/07 > > > --- On Sun, 3/28/10, Julia Molitz <jmolitz@cox.net> wrote: > > From: Julia Molitz <jmolitz@cox.net> > Subject: Re: [TNLINCOL] "Cemetery Records of Lincoln-Moore Counties, Tennessee" Index > To: tnlincol@rootsweb.com > Date: Sunday, March 28, 2010, 9:17 PM > > Sorry Donna, > > There is no Goosby cemetery listed in the cemetery book. > > Julia > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Donna Borges" <djborges54@yahoo.com> > To: <tnlincol@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, March 28, 2010 7:29 AM > Subject: Re: [TNLINCOL] "Cemetery Records of Lincoln-Moore > Counties,Tennessee" Index > > > Julia or Charles or Whoever? > > I am so trying to find Goosby Cem.!
