I am looking for information on Charles McKinney born 1801 somewhere in NC. Married Miss Elizabeth Howell on November 8th 1832 in Lincoln Co, TN. He was listed as a merchant at that time. Elizabeth was the only daughter of Reese Howell. They later moved on to Talladega, Alabama. I am trying to find out where in NC he came from; what might be his middle name, et cetera.
