I am adding to my last query. I found, for instance, a will in the Moore Co. wills for John Bird, dated Sept. 1882. He had a brother Bartlett Bird, and children Rhoda A., Sarah, and James Bird. Does anyone know if this family had any connection with the given name of "Bird" and (mostly female) given name of "Birdie"?
