    3. Dear List, In the book "Early Middle Tennessee Marriages," by Byron & Barbara Sistler, is the following marriage record: "Gray, Harvey to Emaline Gray ?-?-1836 [Li]." This is James Harvey Gray (b. Abt. 1815; d. Bef. 1 Feb 1875) who married Mary Emaline Gray (b. Mar 1820; d. 16 Mar 1908). They are enumerated in the 1850 LCT census, 2nd Sub Division, in HH #202. Living in HH #203 is John Gray (age 60) his wife, Kesiah (age 60) and others. Would anyone know whether John Gray & Kesiah are the parents of James Harvey Gray or Mary Emaline Gray? In the 1900 LCT census, 19th Civil District, Mary Emaline Gray (listed as "Gray, Emaline M.") is living with her son-in-law, John D. Bryant, and her daughter, Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Gray (previously married to William B. Nicks). Also in that household is Harvey Cowan Gray (b. Feb 1884; d. 1938)--son of John Edward Gray & Myrtle Lewis, both deceased (although Myrtle Lewis remarried to Charles Dickson Spray--17 Jul 1898 in LCT--before her death on 5 Apr 1899); and grandson of Mary Emaline Gray--eventhough he is listed as being a "servant." This census record has that Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Gray had two children and one living. It also has that Mary Emaline Gray had seven children and one living. Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Gray actually had THREE children: Ansleum Thomas Nicks (b. 29 Sep 1874; d. 14 Sep 1875); Emma Nicks (b. Abt. 1877) and William B. Nicks (b. Abt. 1878). I am trying to identify all seven of Mary Emaline Gray's children. I have only four so far: John Edward Gray (b. Abt. 1843; d. bef 17 Jul 1898); Alexander R. Gray (b. Abt. 1847; d. Bef 4 Jan 1875); Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Gray (b. Jun 1859; d. 21 Nov 1902); and Clemond A. Gray (b. Abt. 1861; d. Bef 1900). Would anyone know who the other three children are? Thanks!
