I need any information about the Fanning Family. I am researching Middleton Fanning's (1765-1835) Granddaughter Elizabeth Fanning (1823-1889). Elizabeth Married Alford Nickson in Lincoln County 12/24/1839. I would like any information anyone has. Elizabeth Fanning is buried in nearby Franklin county. If anyone has any record of how she died. I need to find out who Alford Nickson's parents were and if he was in the Civil War. His grave Stone says he was a civil war veteran. Alford Nickson born 1813 or 1820 and died 1907.
