    3. Thank you Julia, Yes I am using Ancestry.com, so I'll browse the Jackson County, TN census instead of doing a search, if it will let me go past the last Jackson County page. I don't where Mary Elen (TUCKER) STEED is buried or who her parents or siblings were or where she was in 1850. Every so often I try to focus on finding this info but I always get tired of days of searching and I then get sidetracked too easily on to another family and Mary Elen's family gets forgotten. It seems to me that I found them one time years ago when I was looking at the microfilms but most of my old papers are in storage in another town currently, so it might have been another family that I am thinking I found. Thanks, I feel a new energy to continue looking.
