One of my ancestors, Asher Myers, lived in LCT from aroun 1818 until he died there in 1853. He is listed among those who served from Anson Co. NC in the War of 1812, (where he was born) but did not live to receive a pension. I wish we could compile a list of others who also served, especially from other states, who died too early to be counted among the pensioners. They served there country and it would be good to know who they were, too. Gale Judkins

I wish we could get a list together also. Right now I'm just searching pension records, but maybe we could pull resources together to get a full listing and attach it to LCT website somehow. I don't know much about how that works. You probably have this info, but there is a Thomas Myers that drew pension from Lincoln County. He is on 1832 list age 72, served in NC mil for Rev.
