I'm trying to learn a bit about the history of the Chickamauga branch of the Cherokee Indians. I'm basically ignorant about this, so anything at all, suggestions about info sources, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested about the period between the end of the Revolutionary War and about 1815-20, in the location along the Tennessee border with Alabama ...... especially Giles, Lincoln, and Franklin Counties. Madison County, Alabama is just to the south of Lincoln County. Any information further eastward toward the North Carolina border also would be useful. Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
