    3. Since we have been discussing military service I was curious if anyone has seen a list of the LCT volunteers that mustered in Fayetteville on 1 July 1836. According to document # 34 generated by 25th Congress, second session, the House of Rep. called statewide for volunteers to serve from 1836 to 1837. Gov. Cannon directed that the men be raised " from either side of the Cumberland Plateau" with those from the west to muster in Fayetteville and those in the east to muster in Athens. The rolls I have from those musters only list the counties of Jackson, Overton, Anderson, Bedford, Warren, Rutherford, Sumner and Franklin. I was wondering where to find a list for Lincoln, any ideas? Michaele
