Those on Norris Creek: Norris Creek runs north out of the city of Fayetteville, through Belleville up to almost Cane Creek in the north of the county. Cane Creek: Cane Creek for the most part runs from the west to north east at the very top of the county. See the town of Petersburg? Little Cane Creeks starts a little south of Petersburg's run east along Petersburg/Chestnut Ridge Road (route 129) over into Moore, CO. Shelton Creek is a little harder as I have not found it on my map as yet but Elk River runs right across the middle of the county but it has many up and down curves. It has been my experience when looking for land on the south fork of the Elk River the land has been in the south west side of the county. There is a Shelton Road but it is a short road and it is south west of New Hope, south of the city of Fayetteville. I will keep looking for Shelton Creek. I thought at one time I had looked for it before but cannot remember. Julia.
