    2. I'm sorry to disagree, but there is definitely a problem when an off-topic discussion is dividing us and keeping us from the purpose of this list, which is genealogy in Lincoln County, TN. This continued discussion is going to cause hard feelings and misunderstandings.     3. So here is who I am looking for in Lincoln County, TN. Elder James D. COLE he was a minister at the Primitive Baptist Church in Belleview, Lincoln County, TN. He was married to Eglantine "Tiny" LEFTWICH in Bedford County, VA. I have found lots on the Leftwich line but nothing on James D. COLE. Here is what I know. James D. COLE died on 31 May 1853 in Lincoln County, TN and is buried at Wiley-Cole Cemetery -- "Location: One-half mile NW of Belleville, Tennessee in Ashby Hollow") On tombstone James D. Cole Feb 9, 1781 May 3, 1853 "He was many years a Minister (broken)". (C. P. Church) I don't know if his wife "Tiny" is buried with him or not. Here are the Children of James D. COLE and "Tiny" LEFTWICH John Pope "Jack" COLE born abt 1809 married 1st on 18 Nov 1830 in Lincoln County, TN Espa Adelina HUSBAND and 2nd on 24 Dec 1840 in Lincoln County, TN Susan Hulda C. LEONARD daughter of George L. LEONARD and Mary Ann GILBERT Children of John Pope COLE and Espa Adelina HUSBAND Armantha Tousel COLE born 17 Nov 1831 William Andrew COLE born 10 Jul 1833 James Franklin COLE born 3 Sept 1834 John Rheuphus COLE born 1 Oct 1836 Eliza Catherine COLE born 13 May 1838 Children of John Pope COLE and Susan Hulda C. LEONARD (went to Dallas County, Texas) Susan Callahan COLE born 13 Aug 1846 married Richard (Rick) Durrett in 1866 (My Husband's great-grandparents) Espa Adelina COLE born 1841 George Washington COLE born 23 Feb 1843 married Elizabeth Boatman known son John COLE their maybe other children in this family.
