    3. From the book "Middle Tennessee's Forgotten Children, Apprentices from 1784 to 1902" by Alan N. Miller, there was a James Wright, no age given, on Oct. 19, 1817 was placed with William McMurry, in the same county, Samuel Waddle was placed with Thomas G. Watkins to become a tailor on June 21, 1819 In Giles County, Eliza Gilbert, age 7, was placed wit L. J. M. Busick on April 3, 1837, described as orphan; James Gilbert was placed with John H. Worsham on Dec. 2, 1850. In Lawrence County, Absolam Scott was placed with W. N. Wright on Aug. 8, 1870; young Scott was described as colored, case was appealed to circuit court by William Chaffin's executors, cancelled Oct. 1871 In Marshall County, Joel G. Wright, age 13, was placed wit Roberty Wilie (Wiley?) on Jan. 7, 1845 In another county, James H. B. T. Edlin (might be connected with a Edelen line in OK) was placed with John N. Wright as shoe and bootmaker on Jan. 29, 1836. In another county, Thomas Wright was placed with his brother Reuben on May 17 1830, cancelled Nov. 15, 1830; same area, William Tucker was placed with David Jordan on Feb. 21, 1831 In Davidson County, James Trigg, age 10 years next July, was placed with James Wright on April 19, 1825, Trigg described as orphan and was to learn farming; same county, Polly Wright, 7 yr old orphan, was placed with Parnell burnett on Oct. 16, 1826. Martha Wright (colored orphan) and James Wright (colored orphan) were placed with John Irwin on Nov. 11, 1833 In Dickson County, Nelly Right (Wright?) age 16 was placed with Simon Deloach on Jan. 1, 1827; Jeremicha Holligan, age 8 years next April, was placed with James Wright on Dec. 1805 In Robertson County ?, Anny Nicholl, age 5, was placed with Averett Yerbys on Oct. 19, 1814, James Tucker/Rucker from whom Anny was taken objected to the circuit court July 12 1814; Nancy Wright, age 9, was placed with Charles Holden on Oct, 13, 1815--same dater for the next 3; George Wright, age 6, placed with Thomas Potts (rescinded April 15, 1822), Lucy Wright, age 4, was placed with Charles Holden, Elizabeth Wright, age 12, placed with Barney Adcock. In another county, George Somers/Summers was placed with Green Wright on Dec. 22, 1823 In Marshall County again, Isaac Rite / Wright, orphan, age 7 years this month, ws placed with Polly Witt on July 3, 1848; Thomas Buchanan, age 14 orphan, was placed with H. D. Douglass on June 1, 1856 for farming, later rescinded at request of his brother William R. Buchanan on Aug, 1856 From Tennessee Convicts, Early Records of the State Penitentiary Vol. 2 1850-1870 by Charles A. Sherrill: L. B. Buckhanhan for grand larceny in Hamilton County for 5 years, age 26, a painter, born in Louisana, full name Lemuel D., a brother in Brownsville, Texas; George Prosser, sentenced by militry commission at Memphis for robbery on April 7, 1866, age 19, member of Company D, 2nd Battery 16th U. S. Inf, father and 3 brothers and 2 sisters live in Oswego, New York; Jefferson Pyland on May 13, 1857 for larceny in Haywood County, age 21, no occupation, born in Marshall Co., TN, father dead, mother with 2 sisters and 1 brother live 12 miles north of Brownsville; William Tucker, 28 years, born in Missouri, convicted of burglary in Davidson County on Nov. 1868; David H. Tucker age 42 born in Virginia convicted of larceny in Washington County March 21 1853; Daniel Tucker age 47 born in Virginia convicted of grand larceny in Greene County March 1 1855; James Tucker age 26 shoemaker born in Massachusetts convicted of larceny Jan 24 1860 with 1 brother and 1 sister in Mass.;

    3. By chance would you have found a Robert L. Guthrie, in Giles Co., who was placed with the Henry (or William) Newland family ca. 1840, when he was 7 years of age. Thanks.
