Ginny, I have a very good friend that is 95 years of age. She is a MacIntosh and descends from Chief MacIntosh. She lives in Canada as did her parents. She has in her possession an original marriage cert. between John Lewis Williams and Mary Elizabeth white and is looking for one surname or the other to give this document to. I remembered seeing your post on White. Because of her advanced age she is getting her house in order so to speak. Apparently this document was in her fathers possessions which she has. She was the youngest of 8 children and the only daughter. the other 7 were males. I was hoping you might know of some Whites that might have been in Canada so I could put them in contact with her. We never know what tomorrow will bring and the marriage cert. could be lost through her death. She will surrender to the party that can show relationship.
