This probably will not help you, but in a search I made for my ggg grandmother, Mary Brents, I found this: In "Wills and Deeds Lincoln County, Tn) on page 14. "Margaret Rorax Will (then I have p. 313 in a notation) proven April, 1821, dated February 1827. Mary Brents - deposition signed in own hand (Mary Brent)" Now, that does not make a lot of sense to me but it looks as if there were Rorax people living in Lincoln County between 1821 and 1827. I don't know the connection with these people and Mary Brent/s, but thought she might have been a neighbor or relative. Also, the dates don't seem right, as if it was dated in 1827, it seems that it would have been proven later. I do not have a copy of the Will itself, just these notes I made from the Wills and Deeds book at our library. When I found this reference to this will, I then did a search for Rorex/Rorax on some of the genealogy sites and have made notes of numerous different Rorax people. Some were found in Bounty County, TN, 1850 Census. Also some were in Jackson County, Alabama. I have a note under Rorex Marriages: Wm. Thompson to Louisa Rorex, Aug 7, 1845. Sorry, but I don't remember where I found this information and I didn't make a note beside this. I could never tied my Brents name in with the Rorex/Rorax names but have kept these notes. If any of the other names that I have would be of help to you then I will be glad to copy them for you. Joyce P. Riggs
