Can anyone provide directions to the Colter Cemetery, Belleville, Lincoln County, TN? I attempted to locate this cemetery last summer but was unsuccessful and was planning to have another 'go' at this. Burial at Colter Cemetery, Belleville #44. Melody, Your information on Martha Groce being buried in Colter Cemetery is wrong. She is buried in the Groce Cemetery. The location is Three and one-forth miles SE of Belleville, TN., west of Gimlet Branch. Getting the wrong cemetery is easy to do as I did the same thing. My sister and I looked all over the Prosser Cemetery just knowing that our great grandparents were buried there. After I looked at the Marsh Cemetery Book again I saw I wrote down the wrong cemetery. From looking at my map it could be the cemetery that is west of Old Gimlet Road, that runs along the Gimlet Branch, just were Boonville crosses Old Gimlet north of Mulberry. Boonville Rd. runs north off Lynchburg Hwy. Do you have a map of LCT? If not you can get one from the Chamber of Commerce in Fayetteville.
