There were 165 McElroys listed for Texas statewide, but none by that name. The only one with same initials was Loyd Lee. Alabamas aren't listed at all, so perhaps Texas isn't finished. There were no listing for Palo Pinta, but here are the McElroys for Erath James H Mcelroy Feb 20 1891 Caucasian Texas Not Stated, Erath, TX Joseph Lee Mcelroy Oct 1 1874 White Not Stated, Erath, TX Walter Edgar Mcelroy Feb 10 1879 White Not Stated, Erath, TX Walter Jefferson Mcelroy Feb 5 1881 White Not Stated, Erath, TX Hope this helps Michaele ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dortha Greenlee" <dgreen909h@cox.net> To: <TNLINCOL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 5:58 PM Subject: Re: [LCT] Re: TNLINCOL-D Digest V05 #143 - Warren's, Ollie E. and Ottie B. > Hello, > > My father had to register for WW I, even though he was never called to > serve. Thank you for looking. My father is not here, however, two of his brothers are!! James H McElroy and Walter Edgar McElroy. Could you make a copy of these two for me? Both of these men are dead now. Uncle Hubert (James H) had no children and Uncle Ed (Walter Edgar) had one son. He is still living and I would like to send him a copy of this record. I really appreciate you helping me.
