His property was on the border of NC/SC when the state lines changed from NC to SC. His father, Robert Looney(1) was from Botetourt Co., VA. He had a large number of sons who scattered throughout NC/SC/GA, AL,TN in the early years. There is another possible descendent of Robert (1) for your Robert but not my husband's line and I don't have good info on the other line.
