Said Foster sold to said Leonard a tract of land by patent dated 8th December 1808, Grant No 674 in the second district on the waters of Caine (Cane) Creek, a north branch of Elk River. borders a survey in the name of the heirs of Joshua Lawrence and to entry 103 in the name of A Foster for 640 acres.
