    3. I think, without consulting my notes (hahaha) that my hubby is Isaac marr Hannah Jane Henson, Eli married Melissa?, Levi marr Sutton?, then Elizabeth Steel married Goforth, then my m-n-law Bonnie. These are from Ky to TN/AL, passing from Ky into Franklin Co where Eli or Isaac had an apple orchard then passing into Jackson Co AL. This your bunch?? And where are you located? ----- Original Message ----- From: <AreAllOne@aol.com> To: <TNLINCOL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 2:59 PM Subject: Re: [LCT] Joy and Tankersly surname > In a message dated 1/4/2005 6:26:57 PM Central Standard Time, > joy0420@charter.net writes: > > >>Well, this just gets stranger & stranger...my hubby is through the Steel's > of Franklin Co. 3. You have that out of order. Your line is Isaac married to Elizabeth Smith>Eli married Melissa>then Isaac marr Hannah Jane Henson. My Levi married to Martha Tankersly is your Isaac's ( marr Hannah Jane Henson.) brother. It would have been nice if every family didn't have an Isaac and Levi, gets confusing. Makes me think Isaac had a father by that name, since it is repeated even in Isaac's brother Christian's line who moved to AL when Isaac did. Story goes they were Quakers from Penn before they left for KY. Isaac and Christian moved their families to AL first then to Marion County, then to Franklin County where Eli settled. I think Isaac went back to AL where he died. I have found record of a Levi Steel in Quaker records that might be our Isaac's link, but have found no way to connect them My sister also had a baby weighing 1 lb 7 oz. He has made it just fine. It is kind of odd.
