    2. Hi, I just have to throw in that I have seen alot of info on Melungon, that you were this is your ancestor came from the Black Forest of Germany. If you were mixed, ei: black & white or indian & white, as you were not excepted if you were black or indian, so, if mixed call yourself "Black Dutch" or Black Irish" and you would be safe. Also that the term was used for way back when the Spaniards came over and mixed with the whites, blacks or indians...so, seems people used the term for many various reasons, which ever fit theirs needs. I have also seen many descriptions of this, dark hair and skin with fair eyes seems to be the most common. My grandfather used the term Black Dutch, and the Warrens are dark skin, haired with mostly all have blue eyes...I have not found any Indian or black in our line, again, hard to trace those when you couldn't be indian or black...
