Harold, I have a GEORGE WASHINTON STONE, who was the son of Micajah Stone and Sarah Leftwich. This George was b.March 24, 1811 in Bedford Co. Va.; d. March 11, 1894 in Montgomery, Al. buried Oakwood cem. Montgomery, Al.. He married 1. Mary Gillespie Dec. 16, 1834 in Fayetteville, Lincoln Co., Tn. 2. Emily Moore about 1849 and m. 3. Mary E. Harrison Feb. 08, 1866 in Montgomery, Al. George Washington Stone was a brother to Mary H. Stone who married John Henry Landess. John Henry was a brother to my ggrandfather Joseph Thompson Landess. I have all the children of Micajah And Sarah Stone. There are other George Washington Stones . If this isn't your line if you have the date of birth of your George W. Stone.
