Are you talking about the two story brick house on the opposite side of the Cane Creek farm? If so I think a Jobe lives there now. There are three houses between Boohshill-Petersburg Road and Cane Creek that have fascinated me since I was a child. One is the Cane Creek Farm house, the other is the house I mentioned and the third is the frame house on the same side as the Cane Creek farm. Back in the 50's a family named Foote lived there. I am interested in knowing the history of that house. A fourth house fasinates me--it is on Lewisburg Highway across from the old Morgan School. Can anybody tell me anything about these three houses? Old houses have always held a fascination for me. I did not know that Turkey was related to the Greer family.
