I have been searching several years for information on my great grandfather, John W. Ellis, and his family who lived in Lincoln Co. He had a wife, Safrona, and two daughters, Ella W. born about 1874, Alice, born about 1880-1881, two sons, Daniel, born abt. 1879, and Henry, born abt. 1884. In the 1900 census, Henry and Alice were still living with John and Safrona, but Alice had married a man by the last name of Pigg and she had a son, Willie who was born in 1880. I later found Alice married to Coy Pridgen and they were living in Tulsa, OK. Her mother, Safrona was living with them. John died in 1914 in the TN Soldier's Home.
