Jim, I dug a little further and found a few other bits of info to work with...1860 Wm. R. and Mary show a son William C age 17, in diggin on the Latter Day Saints site I found an entry of: William C. Warren b. 18 Aug 1842 Lincoln Co TN, d. 22 Jun 1925 Lyles, HIckman Co Tn, buried Willow Springs Hickman Co, parents are William Riley Warren and Liza Stuart. William C. Warren married Elizabeth Katherine Carroll 14 Feb 1861...(1860 census show son Wiliam "C".)...now, I found the Wm. R. living in Howell Co Mo in 1870 with son William living next door with wife Elizabeth, Frances 7, James A. 5, William R. 4 and John F. 1....I could not find anyone in 1880, did look at Hickman Co Tn. 1900 and found Wm. Warren b. aug 1842, age 57 m. 39 years, states wife Elizabeth had 7 children with only 3 living. These two are here 1910 and 1920. NOw what I find interesting is that the marriages I have show the Wm. R. m. Harriot Stewart (Lizzy Stuart?) 28 Jan 1841, the child William C. b. 1842 must be her son, she must die and Wm. R. remarried Mary J. McFarland in 1843 and together they have A.J., James A. and Martha, who married the Wilkerson surely, in 1860 Martha Warren is 6 and in 1870 the Martha Wilkinson is 16. Let me say here this is the first time I've seen anyone state William R.'s middle name was Riley.. This is just some more stuff to work with.....I cant help but wonder what made the family head out to MO? I know the brother Robert went to Ky with the Wilkersons..Mo must not have set well with them as they come back to Hickman Co Tn by 1900 (ler me note here that I hate there is no 1890 census!). Another question would be what drew them to Hickman Co, notice there are tons of Warrens there early on.. Cindy
