Joyce, what information do you have on your Emmy Carter in Lincoln County? Maybe she is related to my John F. Carter who came to, I believe Lincoln County, from North Carolina and later settled in Tippah County Mississippi where he died in 1850. I have been having a hard time getting a lead on him, other than the 1840 census.
