I found a very interesting site I don't think was every mentioned here before. It is: Inmates of the Tennessee State Penitentiary 1831 - 1850 The link is: http://www.state.tn.us/sos/statelib/pubsvs/inmate2.htm It is from the Tennessee State Library and Archives. There are several Lincoln County people listed as well as surrounding counties. I recognize several LCT surnames but not specific people. If you see anyone you recognize, can you drop me an email? Apparently they have birth dates for these people and maybe a little more info if you drop them a line. The notes about whether there is more information is confusing as it says some records have been pulled and are unavailable temporarily but the site was last updated in 2002. Thanks, Diane
