    2. Patricia Stringham
    3. Dear Mason, Will be happy to exchange information. You are right about William's parents and wives. Yes, he had children with each of his wives. The three children of Wm. and Belle are: Robert Lee Lindsay, William Virgil Lindsay and Henry Thompson Lindsay. W.V. Lindsay and H.T. Lindsay married two sisters: Nell and Maud Cramsie, in Fayetteville, TN. Maud died in 1914, I believe, after having 4 children with Henry. Henry did marry again to a school teacher named Hattie. Hattie died in Detroit, MI not too long after my parents (Earl Johnson Lindsay and Leata May Reynolds) were married in 1926, also in Detroit. Hattie fell on the ice after getting off a streetcar--I think--and died later as a result of her injuries. I know almost nothing about Hattie as yet. I guess I have been more concerned about my direct line. Are you related to the Lindsays? Patricia Ann (Lindsay) Stringham

    3. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it may have run before. It also ran in one of the papers, evidently, many, many moons ago. I think somebody who'd written something on John Fletcher Mills or one of the Mills gang had a Xerox of it in their folder either at the Fayetteville library or the LCT Genealogical Society. It was, as I recall, circa 19-teens, had lots of bearded guys, and was a Confederate reunion of some sort. I don't think it was in Fayetteville, but maybe Mimosa or Booneville. Anyway, checking some other sources might help you identify it. >>> Vestaviajo@aol.com 1/26/2005 3:31:50 PM >>> Norm, do you know what unit your relative served in? I have a picture of some kind of Veterans Reunion held in prior to 1915, the time of my ancestor's death. He was with the 32nd Infantry. Its a bunch of very old gentlemen, almost all with beards, but no identification. Maybe I should send the Pioneers a copy to run. Its very interesting. By the way, I lost an address I meant to keep and misplaced. It was a new site where lots of genealogical sites are listed and ran in the LCT Digest recently. It was something like Linkpendium. Does anyone remember what it was? Thanks. Jo

    1. Hannah Moores
    2. Robert Jackson
    3. These are additional notes and considerations on Elizabeth Hannah Moores and Listy that I emailed earlier about. Joshua Moores had a daughter on the 1820 LCT census that would fall in the 1805-6 time line. Listy was born about 1806 by the 1850 LCT cnesus. Joshua's brother, Josiah Moores had a daughter named Elizabeth Hannah Moores born 8-Aug-1798 in Kentucky. Robert L. Jackson

    1. Robert Samuel Moore; Hannah Moores
    2. Robert Jackson
    3. I am looking for information on Robert Samuel Moore. There is a listing in LCT marriages for a Robert Moore to Hannah Moores on 8-18-1824. There is a roots web posting with Robert Samuel Moore marrying Elizabeth ? on the same date. Robert Samuel Moore had 2 daughters marrying to Griggs boys on the same day, 1-10-1850. The rootsweb listing has Robert Samuel being born about 1801. The 1850 LCT census, has a listing for Robert, age 60 and Listy Moore, age 44. Robert Samuel's child are listed as Hiram, Mary Sarah, Elizabeth, Marion, Marcow, and Wiley W. The 1850 census for Robert and Listy list children, Marion(19), Carey(18), Eliza(14), Robert(11), Wiley(9), James S(7). Does anyone know if this is the same family? Is this Elizabeth Hannah Moores? or Hannah Elizabeth Moores? Maybe she went by Listy( or maybe Lizzy). The 1840 LCT census has a Robert Moore and wife that would fit the Robert and Listy Moore, but the children, by age breakdown, don't match good. Any help or input is appreciated. Robert L. Jackson
