    2. Ok Warrens, Please lets work together on this! IF you guys will not out bid me, I would be willing to make copies to mail to anyone interested at cost .....If one of you does outbid me, would you do the same? send copies???? As most of you know my direct line is Daniel Warren, but I have spent the last several years now researching all the Warrens in hopes of learning the true relationships, these death certs would be a godsend! I am familiar with EBAY, these things could go thru the roof, it would be much easier to work together and agree to make copies and keep the cost down on Ebay... Cindy

    2. Jim, I dug a little further and found a few other bits of info to work with...1860 Wm. R. and Mary show a son William C age 17, in diggin on the Latter Day Saints site I found an entry of: William C. Warren b. 18 Aug 1842 Lincoln Co TN, d. 22 Jun 1925 Lyles, HIckman Co Tn, buried Willow Springs Hickman Co, parents are William Riley Warren and Liza Stuart. William C. Warren married Elizabeth Katherine Carroll 14 Feb 1861...(1860 census show son Wiliam "C".)...now, I found the Wm. R. living in Howell Co Mo in 1870 with son William living next door with wife Elizabeth, Frances 7, James A. 5, William R. 4 and John F. 1....I could not find anyone in 1880, did look at Hickman Co Tn. 1900 and found Wm. Warren b. aug 1842, age 57 m. 39 years, states wife Elizabeth had 7 children with only 3 living. These two are here 1910 and 1920. NOw what I find interesting is that the marriages I have show the Wm. R. m. Harriot Stewart (Lizzy Stuart?) 28 Jan 1841, the child William C. b. 1842 must be her son, she must die and Wm. R. remarried Mary J. McFarland in 1843 and together they have A.J., James A. and Martha, who married the Wilkerson surely, in 1860 Martha Warren is 6 and in 1870 the Martha Wilkinson is 16. Let me say here this is the first time I've seen anyone state William R.'s middle name was Riley.. This is just some more stuff to work with.....I cant help but wonder what made the family head out to MO? I know the brother Robert went to Ky with the Wilkersons..Mo must not have set well with them as they come back to Hickman Co Tn by 1900 (ler me note here that I hate there is no 1890 census!). Another question would be what drew them to Hickman Co, notice there are tons of Warrens there early on.. Cindy

    1. Re: [LCT] Re: Warren Family
    2. Hi Jim, Was just looking at the marriages of the William Warrens early in Lincoln CO Tn....We know the William that married Elizabeth Burns is son of Daniel (one of my direct lines)....Henry has a son William, John has a son William also, as well as Willis Warren, who we would love to prove is William R. Warren...anyway, it was always my belief that the William who married Sarah Wilkerson was the son of William R. and Sarah Warren, because his brother Robert married Temperance Wilkerson...now not so sure about that...the other 2 marriages I have found was "William R. Warren m. Harriot Stewart 28 Jan 1841"(help me out Stewarts, who is this Harriot?), I have never been able to find anything about this couple, and "William R. Warren m. Mary J. McFarland 23 Feb. 1843"....I now believe that these Wm. R.'s are the same, that first wife died probably, anyway, I found this family in Hickman Co Tn in 1860: William R. 42, Mary 41, William C. 17, A.J. 14, James A. 12, Martha A. 6 and Sarah Warren 66, a couple of house away are some McFarlands.....Robert Warren (bro. to Wm. R. (the Jr.) is living in Graves Co Ky along with brother Peter, and some Wilkersons.....now I found Wm. R. in Howell Co Mo in 1870...William R. 53, Mary J. 51, Andrew J. 22, James A. 21, Wilkenson, Martha (who is she?? help us out you Wilkersons!)...living next doos is this Wm.'s son William 29, Elizabeth 24, Frances J. 7, James A. 5, William R. 4, John F. 1..... I cant find these families later, may have it somewhere on paper......A big question is who is the William that married the Wilkerson??? Where are they? Why does the Wm. R. wind up in Mo? Jim, you prob. have Wm. R. on some census', point me in the right direction if I am wrong here and this is not the right Wm. R. I tried to look around on the Mogenweb site, but didn't find anything... Just some stuff to chew on, Cindy

    3. In today's issue of Review-Journal , a morning newspaper of Las Vegas, NV, there is a large colored picture of a local man who appears to be of black heritage but is almost white. He has a state medical marijuana license to allow him to purchase and use it as a cancer and stroke victim. He appears to be about 65-70 years old. His name is Warren Briscoe. It does my heart good to see that a mother in this century used those combinations to name her son. She obviously was aware of their heritage and proud of it.
