I looked at the card for Ollie and it said he worked as a twister hand at a mill in Fayetteville. It gives the name of the mill, but I can't read it. Hi Folks: One of the Warren family line married one of my KING family aunts. I noticed from the WW1 draft registration cards that were recently printed on this BB, there was an Ollie E. Warren and an Ottie B. Warren. I was wondering if either one of them happen to be my uncle; since the information given my uncle's daughter said his name was: Ollie Burton Warren and that he was born in Franklin Co. TN, 18 Jan 1883. Ollie Burton Warren's father was listed as being: John P. Warren and his mother as Mary Elizabeth Brown. My Ollie Burton Warren married Tera Alice King, born 15 Feb. 1892, in Lincoln Co. TN. They had two daughters, Enda and Esther; the latter is still alive and living in Pratt City, AL, a part of Birmingham, AL Are we talking about three Warrens named Ollie/Ottie Warren, or just two. Can any one help me sort out the three Warren's named above? Tom King, Sr. Sterling, VA

Hi Michaele, It's been awhile! How are you with your FMF, by the way? Was wondering, are these draft cards available for copy/purchase ? Sounds like they contain really good info. The cards give good info like where employed, color of hair and eyes, etc. Anyway, I was trying to figure out if the James Adron Warren and John Lee Warren were the sons of John Warren and Permelia S. "Millie" Warren. The dates seemed close but although they stated they lived in LCT they said they were born in Giles County and Moore County respectively. Just wondered what the Warren researchers thought. > > Benjamin Warren 12 Nov 1885 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Horace Blakely Warren 13 Jun 1887 Caucasian Tennessee;United States of America Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > James Adron Warren 12 Jul 1894 Caucasian Tennessee;United States of America Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > James Robert Warren 9 Feb 1880 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Jenn C Warren 16 Mar 1885 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > John Anderson Warren 14 Feb 1883 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > John Lee Warren 3 Sep 1896 Caucasian Tennessee;United States of America Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Lee Andrew Warren 20 May 1886 Caucasian Tennessee;United States of America Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Neal Elex Andrew Warren 10 Mar 1882 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Ollie Ellis Warren 27 Aug 1900 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Ottie B Warren 20 Oct 1900 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Peter Daniel Warren 2 Jul 1885 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > Thomas Leslie Warren 11 Oct 1892 Caucasian Tennessee;United States of America Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > William Adron Warren 1 Sep 1877 White Not Stated, Lincoln, TN > > Michaele > > > ==== TNLINCOL Mailing List ==== > Other genealogical mailists and newsgroups: http://www.CyndisList.com/mailnews.htm > > ============================== > Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. > Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection. Hi Michaele, Yes, John Lee and James Adron were brothers and son of John and Millie Warren. They had another son Kurt who enlisted also, served all his life, never married and died in Lima, France. My grandfather Obie (another son of John and Millie) had Kurt's body brought home and he is buried in Mulberry Cemetery. Thanks for posting this, haven't looked all thru it yet, wanted to respond to your post... Cindy
I need to make a correction to some of the info on the McCullock line. I had the family of James F. McCullock. and Mary Levinia Ashby listed as having 5 children because son Upton was on census with family and then later census had a son James T. that had moved back home after a divorce. The ages were different, but close. I thought these were two separate individuals. Apparently they are one and the same. From the WW 1 draft card I found name to be James Thomas Upton Mccullock born 11 May 1893. He and Emma must have divorced because he married her 02 Mar 1919, but is on 1920 census 1920 census LCT District 23 James F Mcculloch, 64, TN, TN, TN, farmer Vinnie 65, TN, TN, TN James T., son, 26, divorced,TN, TN, TN, farmer Not a very long marriage. One of the Ashby researchers had told me they were told Upton died young. I still haven't found a death date, but perhaps now I can since his name would likely be James on it not Upton. Anyway, Just thought I would pass along the correction.
I was looking for info on the WW 1 draft registration cards on Ancestery.com and found these Warrens listed.
