I ordered it about 3 months ago from a catalog and was sooooooo excited, only to be told they did not have enough orders to do a reprint. It is available from Frontier Press Bookstore. I have ordered from Frontier Press before, and I do not reccommend ordering over the web. They do not give you an acknowledgment of your order. I finally received my order about two months later. I would suggest calling their 800 number, and getting a committment as to a shipping date. Contact me off the list for a link to their site. Betty, This is the forward from Marsh new book "Early History and Research Digest of Bedford CO., TN" This Book is intended as both an early Bedford County History and historical facts research digest for the researcher that has an interest in Bedford CO. TN. Much of the material in this publication was taken from the Marsh Collection and was compiled with the intent of sharing it with the readers. It covers, early history, plat maps, 1812 Tax list, grants & "a potpourri of unpublished records including archival and court records." I ordered my from Southern Historical Press at the pre publication price. It now cost $65.00 plus shipping. Rita, Have you called Southern Historical Press of late? They were suppose to have had the reprints of the LCT & Moore CO. Cemetery Book available by late Jan. 2005 . I ordered a new book by the Marsh's "Early History & Genealogy Digest of Bedford CO., TN." that was supposed to have been available by the same time but I had to call them in Feb. and received the book the first of March I believe. They are very bad about shipping out orders. I have always had to call about my orders for I would not receive them in a timely manner. My order was always the next one to go out.:-). But I would try them again. Those that are doing research in Bedford CO., TN may be interested in the new Marsh book. Thanks Brenda, None of the Holloway names looked familiar ( I dont know much at all on this line) The Centers gave me a lead. There are 2 other surnames, Id like you to look-up, if you dont mind. METCALF & EDDE / EDDY. Thank you so much. Trish
Brenda, Thank you so much. These folks are probably kin in some way but they did not live during the time my folks were in Madison County, MS Territory. Is is so nice of you to look this up for me. When I am next in Madison County perhaps I can find Volumer 3. But most likely that will be of even more recent births. Am I correct? Bob, Your more than welcome, sorry I could not find any more for you. I have never even seen Vol #3 wish I could get my hands on one. So I have no idea what location it has in it. I hope to hit Huntsville some time this year, maybe they will have one at the library there.
