Just a theory at this point. Jeremiah Marshall Swaner married Rebecca E Wright. In 1880 they were living in Civil dist 15(Red Oak/ Mcburg area) with 2 children. In June 1900 they lived in Dist 14 around Boonshill with 4 children. Rebecca said she had 5 children/ 4 living. last child living with them was Emma born Dec 1885. Katie Sue was born Jun4, 1891 and died Mar 28, 1900.Buried in Davis Cem between red Oak and Boonshill. By 1910 Jeremiah(listed as James M) and Rebecca were living in Marshall ct. Daughter Hattie had married Ira Sims/Simms. Does anyone have a marriage for Emma Swaner/ Swanner born Dec 1885 and married possibly between 1900 and 1910? Thank goodness, I NEVER throw away anything. After our visit to LCT in 2001 and the Shiloh Cem, I wrote Mr Hall for a copy of the layout of the grounds for the new section. At that time he offered to send me a copy of the burials, but I didn't get around to requesting them. Now I do not know who is in charge of the burial records to write for a copy. The Mr Hall I corresponded with was Carl B Hall , 1499 Old Elkton Pike, Ardmore TN 38449. Thank you Virginia, you have given me another lead to follow..I have the majority of this information. I do the research on James A Simms line. that is myline. Virginia Sims Cantrell is still alive and she is the one I am wanting the info for. Her mother died when she was only 3 to 4 y/o and she is wanting to know about her..I am trying to find something to give her..NOthing was saved about her mother.
