    3. Does anybody know anything about the John and Patsey Williams listed on the 1850 census? A Patsey Williams is named coexecuter in the will of John Guthrie and I'm wondering if she isn't a married daughter of his not otherwise mentioned in the will. As was another Executer, Elizabeth C Baxter thnaks, mary

    3. Ginny, Thanks for he response. It seems you know more about INMAN than I do. I just came across the name in a BONHAM family book I opened as I thought I saw someone's post that linked it connected to the area of Fannin Co., TX and town of Bonham and thought there might be some connection. I guess the delay in my response was to allow me to se your latter posting that mentioned your WHITE family. Did any of them move into the Decatur/Henderson Co. area? My gr-gmother was a Margaret "Peggy" WHITE (1852-1940) and is bur. in Scotts Hill, TN. All I have for this family is bits and pieces that somehow don't seem to fit together. She had a brother Stephen that married a Lavicia "Vicey" SCOTT but as I said, all is not real clear to me here. As an aside, our pastor's wife was a WHITE from Kansas City area (I think MO). 3. Dear List, In his will, Thomas Wilson (d. 1816) names his wife, Elizabeth Wilson, and his children: James, Thomas, Matthew, Washington, Betsy, Robert and John. He names his brother, Robert Wilson. But he also names his grandson, CLINTON WILSON. In his will, James Wilson (d. 1871), names his wife as Dora Wilson. He also names Matilda C. McMillen (possible daughter?). But he also names 3 "Kinsman:" James R., Thomas A. and W. C. Wilson, all sons of CLINTON WILSON. In his will, CLINTON WILSON (b. 29 Jul 1813; d. 12 Apr 1885) names his wife Mary M. Wilson, his daughters, Elizabeth Lazenberry and Caldonia A. Perry, and sons, J. R. Wilson, T. A. Wilson and W. C. Wilson. Would anyone know which one of Thomas Wilson's (d. 1816) sons is the father of Clinton Wilson? And how is James Wilson (d. 1871)related to Clinton Wilson? Jim Danley Vista, CA

    3. Hi Anita, There were many neighbors in William Clark White's area that ran through the brush to see what those soldiers and scalawag's were up to. I assume there were several who were on horse back who joined the group out of curiosity too. I do not believe the Tucker boys had any idea they would end up at their uncle's farm. It was noted in the testimony of many that all those soldiers and accompanying men were loud, drunk and cursing. Two young men who saw where they ended up and what was taking place must have realized it would not be a good time to say they were related. They did what they dared to help Elizabeth K. [Wilkerson] White with her husband and daughter. I do not think they bore any blame. I am sure they were scared to death. Regarding using the middle name of White rather than Wright as some state; Edith Chapman [White ] Tucker gave the middle initial of W. to three of her children: William W. b ca 1818 NC Elizabeth W. b 14 April, 1822 NC Sarah W. born 22 Dec 1830. Their sister, Malinda Tucker, married a Wright long after her above siblings were born. There were no Wright marriages in William Clark White's ancestry that I have ever found. No doubt there were marriages between the Tucker and Wright families. I have almost NO information about James Tucker's family. I do not even have his parents names. If you can tell me anything about the Tucker's ancestry, I would be appreciative. I am always open to correction with proof that I am wrong. .·:*¨¨*:·.~* Ginny *~.·:*¨¨*:·. Nee White
