Hello -- I'm almost embarrassed to ask for another lookup after all your generosity to others, but whenever you have time could you please check these two: A.B. Thompson Nancy Thompson both listed as p. 54 (or cemetery number 54, I'm not sure which from the index?) (Please, you don't need to copy anything if the death date is after 1860.) Thank you, Anita Stevenson
Julia, thank you for taking your time and looking up those records for me. I also wished someone who redone the book or just republished it !!! Thanks, a million !!! Thank you very much, Julia. Dortha
I was able to order a book, "The Fat of the Land" by William C. Edmiston from a used book store. It arrived yesterday and I have scanned through the entire book. It is an interesting little narrative about the author's family who lived in or near Petersburg, Tennessee, and is set around 1900 forward. Most of the families mentioned in the book are GREER and EDMISTON. None of my family is shown that I have found. There is no index. There are many personal stories about these families and also about their holdings of land in this area. I am willing to sell the book to someone who is really wanting it or will donate it to Lincoln County Historical Society or the library there in Fayetteville. If you have any interest in this book you may write me off line at: [email protected] Joyce Park Riggs

I wish to apologize for stating that the index web site had the name of the cemeteries. It was a slip of my mind. The index only has the names as they appear in the book and the page # they appear on. Sorry for the confusion I have created Julia
I must be missing something. Have pulled up the book, found the surnames I wanted and page numbers but there was no listing of which cemetery. Any thoughts? Looking at Rawls, Ponton, McAnn and Twitty. Thanks. Carole Bemke, Dunnellon, FL
