Hi everyone, Once again it is time to start sending any queries that you wish to place in the December issue of the Lawrence County Genealogical Society's quarterly journal. This is a good opportunity to try to find someone who might be able to help you solve that problem person you have been working on for years. We have members all across the U.S. and many people have obtained some good info this way. If you are a member, queries are free and may be sent by email to lcarchives@lorettotel.net (Actually I prefer them by email so I don't have to retype them.) If you are not a member, queries are $2 each. The query and the $2 can be sent to the Lawrence County Genealogical Society, 218 N. Military Ave., Suite B-1, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. Only two can be printed per person each journal unless space allows for more and we prefer you keep them to a limit of around 100 words. If you wish to become a member of our society, membership for 1 year is only $10, 1 year sustaining member $25, and lifetime $100. The money may be sent to the above address. You will receive four 40 page journals a year packed with info on different families, will abstracts, queries, book reviews, how to articles, pictures, and much more. We also have quarterly meetings and try to present an interesting program each time.
