Hi again, I just wanted to let everyone know that the fall issue of the journal is about ready to go to the printers. We hope to have it ready by the meeting next Saturday. We have a new editor, Jim Crowder, who has stepped in to fill Shirley's place and is doing a wonderful job. This is his first time to do a journal of this size, so please let him know how much you enjoy the journal. If we treat him nice, he plans to continue in this position. SO PLEASE BE NICE, editors are as hard to find as chairpersons! As always, we encourage members, or even non-members, to submit articles on their families to include in the journal. If you have pictures to go with the articles, that makes them even more interesting. Please send your queries also, which are free to members and $2.00 to non-members. We always welcome ideas for our journal or for programs for our meetings. So let us know what you like and what you don't like - we strive to please. If you are not a member and would like to become a member of our society, dues are $10 for one year, $25 for one year sustaining, and $100 for lifetime.
