Hi everyone, Once again it is time for our The Lawrence County Genealogical Society's Annual Family History Fair Saturday, June 23th (this is our 4th year). The fair will be held at the Lawrence County High School located on Springer Road from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We always have many people from all across the United States in attendance. Some reserve tables to display their research or books for sell, while others browse from table to table in hopes of finding a researcher working on the same line as they are. So, plan to come with your charts, notebooks, pictures, etc. and join the fun. If you would like to reserve a table, please contact me at lcarchives@lorettotel.net. Or you can visit the society's web site at http://web.infoave.net/~lcarchives/lcgs.htm, scan down to the Family History Fair Reservation link, and print out a form to mail to the society. Tables are free, but we need you to register in order to know how many tables to set up. Admission to the fair is $1 per person. If you are willing to volunteer to work at the admission table, copy machine, society table, help with set up and take down, or any of the various other positions, please contact me. If you live out of state, you can still help. Several of our volunteers last year were from out of county or out of state. We can always find something for you to do. It is only through willing volunteers that we will be able to keep this event going. Thanks. Kathy Niedergeses
