Searching for parents/siblings of Margaret Jane STRICKLIN DAVIS. b. 1840 in Alabama, according to census records, tho both parents were apparently b. in Tennessee. Married in 1856 in Savannah, Hardin Co. TN, to James Jackson DAVIS. Died in Wayne Co. TN in 1912. Have been unable to connect with any STRICKLIN family in the area despite considerable effort. If you have a Stricklin database and she would fit into it, time wise and information wise as to birth places and dates, I am anxious to hear about it. She was only a couple of generations back, but appears to have morphed into existence with no parents, no brothers and sisters. Thanks, Linda
