She was born circa 1828-1831. The 1850 Wealkey Co.Census shows her as age 22 - the 1860 census as age 30 and the 1870 census as age 39. After that I lose track of her. She married ___?___ Stanfield circa 1846-1848. Their son George C. Stanfield was born 15 Aug. 1849 in Weakley Co. I think Martha's husband was Erwin, Ervin, Irvin, or possibly James Stanfield. I think he was the son of William Stanfield of Wayne Co. This is a HUGE gap in my research, and I just haven't been able to settle it. I plan to contact the two people you suggested.
