    1. [TNLAWREN-L] Family History Fair
    2. Lawrence County Archives
    3. Hi everyone, Just wanted to remind everyone that it is getting close to time for the big event about which you will find information below. The Lawrence County Genealogical Society will hold their Third Annual Family History Fair Saturday, June 17, 2000, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lawrence County High School located on Springer Rd. in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A small admission fee of $1 will be charged. If you are interested in genealogy, this is a great opportunity to meet new people who are researching on your same family lines. We have had tremendous response to our fair the past two years and hope that everyone will continue to make it a great success. Each year we had well over one hundred people in attendance from twelve or more states. Last year information on eighty-five Lawrence County families was displayed on the various tables reserved by researchers. There were also vendors with many books for sell on Lawrence County, Giles County, and other surrounding counties. Everyone had a wonderful time swapping family charts, stories, pictures, etc. Food will be available on-site, so you will not have to leave to enjoy good food. As in the past, we hope to have a member of our society available to make copies of cherished photos with their camera for individuals for a small fee. A copy machine will be available for copies of any information you need copied. So bring, charts, notebooks, photographs, computers, etc. and join in the fun. If you are bringing information to share with others or books for sell, tables are available and free, but we do ask that you please make a reservation in order for us to be able to determine how many tables we need. Including the surnames of all the families you will have information on or the books you have for sell, will enable us to make a fair directory. You can be find a registration form on our web page at http://web.infoave.net/~lcarchives/lcgenso.htm; or you can email the society directly at lcarchives@lorettotel.net and tell them you need a table - be sure to include the surnames on which you will have information. Also, you can contact the archives by for a form or information on lodging, restaurants, maps, directions, etc. Lawrence County Archives, 218 N.
