Hi everyone, The Lawrence County Archives has a new book for sell. The book is titled "Strawfoot" The Life and Times of the 32nd Tennessee Infantry 1861-1865. It was compiled by Bill Skillian, indexed by Donna Ramsey and printed by Bobby Alford. Mr. Skillian donated the rights to the book to the archives and we receive a larger commission from this book to go toward purchasing other books and microfilm. The book is a history of the 32nd Infantry and includes information from diaries of men who served in the unit. It also contains as complete a roster as can be compiled of the men who served in the 32nd, including the medical staff, chaplain, musicians, casualty list and information on the battles.
