Hi list I am new to the list. I am trying to research the Slaughter surname. in Summertown and Dover, Tn. I looking for info on Johnathon Slaughter and his wife Mary Ellen Rhodes. They had several children, one was my father in law Asa Jennings Slaughter. They lived in Summertown Tn. however some of the Slaughter migrated to Dover, Tn., Cullman, Al. and Hicksville, Ohio.
